Having any amount of trust for Government if getting harder and harder. When I was growing up. The President was like God. Ok, I admit coming from a hard ruling Republican House so ..um, the President was at the Right hand of God and the Vice President just sat around in the wings in case someone Killed the President . These days, we have a very active Vice President. Too active for a man with such heavy health problems. It is true that he has before him a great health care system and provider. I dare to say that if I had the same type of coverage I might be able to do more too just like Cheney. But that is am entirely DIFFERENT rant. This is about the trust worthiness of sitting President and his House of Bush. have sat through 3 days of White House Press Briefings with Scott McClelland being coy and unanswering. As a matter of fact, on Feb 13th the live version on Whitehouse.gov website and c-span.org website did not have the press briefing up for viewing. THe transcript was not even up fully. It was as condensed as the White House allowed. When I finally saw a CNN copy it was editted and that made me so...SO curious as to why. After 3 days, I realize why. They were trying to get the story straight. These guys do not work well on the fly. They need a game plan. It is how they have always operated and now Cheney blows it big time. I am not here to jump on the bandwagon regarding the shooting on the Armstrong Ranch Feb 11,2006. This happens to be just one more huge question mark on the entire workings of the Bush Administration. So first we have an editted copy of the White House News briefings for Feb 13th. And Mr Chaney coming out of the Box with an exclusive with Friendly Fox News on Feb 15 2006,which to me is a dead give away to my idea of "something happenin' here" Fortunately, Mr. Cheney travels with his own medical team. (The vice president suffers from heart problems, although the full details of his physical condition are secret.) Nevertheless, according to the White House, Mr. Cheney was so busy attending to Mr. Whittington that he was unable to inform even President Bush about what had happened for a very long time. His retinue — usually bristling with cellphones, pagers, BlackBerries and satellite phones — was also oddly incommunicado. http://www.nytimes.com/2006/02/14/opinion/14tues2.html?8br Just how odd is it for the VP to do this. I mean, if you are on call, you are on call. Just recently 23 "terrorists" escaped AND the CIA released a Al-CIA-da - Osamma tape that was said to have been 1) Osamma/Usamma 2) was said to have direct threats on the "homeland" Yet, this was the time that the VP with serious health problems decides to go on a communications free and nearly aid free "junket" Ah, that political phrase seems to be thrown out the door with GW Bush in office. It use to be a Republican "pet peeve" That seems really strange to me. But then again, the entire Bush Administration and Republican Party is strange and does not fit the mold of what our country is ALL about and what it should be about. So, let's go back to the "trust " issue. Is there any trust ? NO!
