For those of you that just can’t figure out what the buzz about forums is about , I doubt if I can explain it to you.. It is simple communications. Blogs tend to be personal thought and reflections and Forums,heh,heh,heh, can be a mind field full of dead troll names of the, I am almost certain on this, the mentally and socially dysfunctional..

I have had my own sites to write and espouse on  for quite a few years now and I really love it . I have to say that is extremely fun for a person with varied opinions, outlooks and experiences. But, you know, for outside communication with strangers? Ah, a forum can’t be beat.. and the choices of forums are endless . I like fast moving forums but then again I stuck myself into one and it has been a wild ride. I have not talk to so many people with real serious social handicaps EVER and I worked with the developmentally disabled. So you know I know what  I am talking about. I also sold houses as a Realtor and that should seal the deal about having to deal with crazy people all day with a smile on my face. Luckily , there are friendlier forums , I have been lucky enough to slip into a few neighborly forums. I enjoy them tremendously.. The Internet is the new social meeting place where you can drink your coffee, smoke whatever you smoke and play cards , talk politics, solve the worlds ills, history, catch up on the newest videos, swap recipes and even lactation tips J Of course, there is a catch. All your words are being catalogued-along with your IP address, homeland security and all that. Tax Dollars HARD at work.

Delphi Forums

Yes, the Forum that sucked me in is a strange place. It is a massive forum base and sometimes I wonder if mental institutions are giving out laptop time for those that behave well.

 I originally hit a Forum called Beaches. It is a virtual sandy beach. No politics, just sand, sun and nice people with an occasional peeping tom.

From there, I followed a Promo that had a topic that I had an opinion on. From there, I was off to the races. Now 6 years into Delphi, I am now a paying member (am I nuts too?) not only that but I am Hosting a Forum and Asst manager at another and Forum editor at yet another.

And this morning the 2^nd day of the New Year and Delphi is not coming up for me to do my morning posting, to get in my morning bitch session or even get my spanking from a overzealous political paid poster who gets paid by the post.

Now 2pm and Delphi is still not up and running. Heaven help us all. The Freepers(Free Republic Paid Posters) will not be able to pay their bills if Delphi isn’t up and running sometime today..
