I am not sure exactly how to react to Ann Coulter speaking at the

annual Conservative Political Action Conference CPAC) in Washington, D.C., Coulter closed her remarks with: “I was going to have a few comments on the other Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards, but it turns out you have to go into rehab if you use the word ‘faggot,’ so I -- so kind of an impasse, can’t really talk about Edwards.”

and being greeted with cheers from her adoring public at a GOP fund raiser where she share the podium with feature candidates for public office. The Patriot in me says “ Who cares, it is a free country and she is allowed to say what she wants in a crowd of people who accept what she says as “humor” but that only applies when there is some kind of decency to hold onto and the GOP have shown they have no decency left. There is Political Correctness sure but I am not one of those people but the opposite of that has been pure unadulterated crassness and it has been demonstrated at vomit levels.. She should have been booed off the stage. That was what they intended to do to Stephen Colbert at the Press Roast this past year and at least HE is FUNNY!
Yes, I am just a Patriot that holds no allegiance to the right or left wings of the politics agenda. And I find this woman appalling. There was a time I liked to watch FOX too but that has LONG past. I can't tolerate a News Media that doesn't live in Reality and one that wants to manufacture reality for others. I said that because at one time I liked Bill O Reilly too until he started to suck the tit of Murdoch..the KING of Propaganda Mastery. The Propaganda Minister of the shadow government. It seems to me Ann was indoctrinated into this cult as head blowhard and I can only assume that is her greatest talent.
I think most of her commentary is hate speech and I am not really a proponent of hate speech so I often wonder if she is part of a Problem Reaction Solution. Can Ann speak vile enough to force the hate speech laws into existence? Just a thought. She sure does get me angry and I am not a liberal. I get called one often enough though. It is tiring and so childish. Unfortunately, I find most people that identify themselves as Rightwing to be similarly childish in their attacks on my point of views.
But , I have been wondering how far is TOO far for Ann Coulter. The MSM has been quiet regarding most of this. Perhaps they think her point of view is the way we ought to talk in the political arena. Luckily , Mr Edwards camp has not been quiet about it.

Edwards responded on Saturday with a statement: "Ann Coulter's use of an anti-gay slur yesterday was un-American and indefensible. In America, we strive for equality and embrace diversity. The kind of hateful language she used has no place in political debate or our society at large. I believe it is our moral responsibility to speak out against that kind of bigotry and prejudice every time we encounter it."

I see that Michelle Milken, you know, the Ann Coulter replacement said it correctly

Michelle Malkin expressed disapproval, and at her Hot Air site regular contributor "Bryan" wrote: "I’m no fan of John Edwards, but that’s just a stupid joke. It’s over the line. The laughter it generated across the room was more than a little annoying. Last year it was 'raghead.' This year it’s calling John Edwards a 'faggot.' Two years in a row, Coulter has finished up an otherwise sharp CPAC routine with an obnoxious slur that liberals will fling at conservatives for years to come. Thanks, Ann."
