Hold On to Your Hats and anything else that can be taken .

Yes, the State and City Coffers are running low and the harassment begins on the citizens of Florida.

The Codes Enforcer was out and about today. He was out drumming up fines and fees for people around Sarasota County. The Assessors are also out in force making sure the State gets its cut of what little money we bring in each day, month or year. So, make sure you have permits for all construction going and make sure the car or two has its tags and insurance. It burns my butt about the insurance add on that the State gives gladly to the insurance companies. Anyway, the fine for having an unlicensed vehicle is $1000 a day. Not chump change.

I was hoping that things would get better.

Charlotte County , however is letting us know where the speed traps are for the week.

In Port Charlotte-

And

U.S. 41 and State Road 776 in Port Charlotte
