No Time to go after fraud in Post 9-11 world E-mail

No one noticing the terrorism within as Thousands of white-collar criminals are not being prosecuted in federal court -- and in many cases, not at all -- because of the Bush administration's restructuring of the FBI after the attacks of 9/11. is in itself a crime against the people of the USA. It is one of the unique parts of keeping us safe here in the USA that Mr Bush and his cohorts have forgotten about like absent minded fools and we know that this bunch are not fools

Isn't that nice. What a clever way to hide the deeds of the corporate factions that have been leading this course of destruction we are on. More destruction means more revenue for them. Remember a  big housing crisis is only bad for the people it impacts but it is good for the "investor"
So lets see here...
We have Gonzales that was wanting to fire US Attorneys because they were going ofter cases the government didn't want them to go after...clear crimes  and for refusing to go after made up speculations of wrong doing .........and then add this to the mix.

And as the replacement FBI head ,As agents were shifted to counterterrorism after 9/11, FBI Director Robert Mueller was well aware of the consequences. Without more agents, there was no way to maintain the bureau's grip on its traditional list of crimes, particularly time-consuming fraud investigations.
Burrus acknowledged that the bureau has reduced its efforts to fight fraud, likening its current policies -- in which fraud losses below $150,000 have little chance of being addressed -- to "triage." Even cases with losses approaching $500,000 are much less likely to be accepted for investigation than before 9/11, he said.

There is "no question," he said, that America's financial losses from frauds below $150,000 amount to billions a year.

Aw...too bad for the commoners being ripped off. Too bad for the people whose investments and savings get ripped off by scammers in and outside of  Corporate hierarchy.
