It is a Sad Day for the American Bald Eagle E-mail

> June 28 - The Department of the Interior took the American bald eagle off the endangered species list Thursday. NYT

While many people are patting themselves on the back for the Success of helping the Bald Eagle recover , perhaps one needs to step back and see what really is in store for the Bald Eagle.

With the endangered Species Act, areas where Bald Eagles Nest was off limits to developers. Now it will be wide open for developement. Developers never consider anything but the dollar so depending on a developer to use common sense is a Moot Point.

There is an Eagles Nest somewhere close to me. How do I know? Because I see the soaring Eagle above my house from time to time.

It is such a beautiful sight and few have had the chance to see it. I think it is a "must do" thing to see in ones life. And that chance is being eroded

Was the Bald Eagle also interfering with oil production perhaps?

We have sold out our National Symbol for a tank of gas?

For a New Mall?

For another Gated Community with a Golf Course?
