If he did that might be why he started Smoking again..Peter Jennings is talking about the collapse of the tower that was hit 2nd and amazed at the way it came down and then he was interrupted
Don Dahler swore that there was no explosion at the base even though Peter Jennings in his wisdom was talking about the "only way " to bring down a structure like that was to go at the base as several witnesses at the scene had commented about, not to mention the surviving Firefighters that are still alive.
So Dan Dahler says"from where I am sitting..." Will someone tell me where he is sitting?
It sounds like a script to me and you can see how confused Peter Jennings is with this commentary.

Then fellow news anchor John Miller explains how the collapse of WTC7 is a "good" thing which has "helped" with the rescue effort.
John Miller is now the Assistant Director of Public Affairs for the FBI.

Flashes from the exploding demolition charges could be seen on the outer walls of the building.
Unfortunately, digital video compression often omits these 'minor details' to save space, but on this clip you can see some of them. Beware , once you see the first and 2nd Flash you will see alot of them going off with precision. It is scary what these folks are capable of and have the balls to try and pull off.
