The TSA has warned airport screeners to look out for terrorists possibly conducting “dry runs”.
This could impact air travel across the nation.
Airport employees have been advised that there may be terrorists attempting to carry explosives onto airplanes.
This comes from what the TSA calls “suspicious seizures”. They’ve taken items out of both checked luggage and carry-on luggage; they say these may have been meant for use in an explosive device.
The seizures have happened in four cities across the country.
In San Diego, officials found clay hidden inside ice packs. That clay could have been used to make an explosive.
In Milwaukee, there were two blocks of cheese found and some electrical wires.
In Houston, officials found a battery and wires, and in Baltimore, cheese and a cell-phone charger.
Some of these items could be difficult to screen as they are everyday items, but airport employees know they need to be aware. ..
