Reflection on the 2001 GW Bush First Brief Presidential Address E-mail
Written by Swanny Smith
Sunday, 21 October 2007

I stumbled on the first address as president of GW Bush.

As it is coming to an end (hopefully) and the Speech was short , under 15 minutes they claimed, I thought it would be a good time to reflect on this Pre - Sept 11 2001 Speech.

First off, it must be noted that GW Bush was SEATED in the President seat. Not elected either time. Fool me once did  not work on the People living in the United States. I guess the feeling is - "Why they wouldn't DARE" But dare they did and dare they have done.

So the CNN Article by Ian Christopher McCaleb and Matt Smithstarts out :

George W. Bush assumed the title President of the United States at noon EST Saturday, and in his first address as the nation's chief executive, urged high spirits and a warm sense of civic duty amid biting gusts of wind and a persistent, bitterly cold drizzle.

And after he ASSUMED the seat of President he started ASSUMING quite a bit more. We will look into that in many further issues here.

Bush called for a new sense of unity after years of poison-pen politics and challenged Americans to become more deeply engaged in the nation's civic life.

So instead of Poison Pen Politics they decided to use Poisoned Letters, Domestic Spying, Intimidation,Suppression Manuals,

Increased Law enforcement powers and stopped referring to the Police as Protect and Serve to calling them Law Enforcers with the right to take away your Rights that are God Given by God. It is in his best interest to have you involved as long as you are involved in his end game. If not, your involvement gets you put on a list. The list could be for you to be watched, wiretapped digitally videoed, your mail looked at your email sifted, It can keep you from leaving the country, renting a car, an Apartment.

As a matter of fact, anyone in a "government " Posittion can look up any thing about any body at any time.

Even Gen Hayden said that Probable Cause is not needed  to by pass FISA , which is also a joke if people really looked into it.

None of our safe guards have kept us safe from GW Bush.

The Speech went on:

He urged them to extend a helping hand to their neighbors

You see, with the new idea to keep us safe AFTER 9/11 was to watch our neighbors but if for some reason we do mingle with our neighbors, that is also being noted. So is what you buy and how much you buy. If you travel overseas, it is even recorded where you sit and who you sit by. Every US Citizen that travels abroad is given a terrorist number.

Basically, if we slide into the deep depression that many are seeing in their crystal balls we will be living in camps together because together will be the ONLY way to afford anything. Everything has increased in price  and we are feeling it, BELIEVE me We are feeling it Mr President. You have my FULL attention.

"I ask you to seek a common good beyond your comfort; to defend needed reforms against easy attacks; to serve your nation, beginning with your neighbor,"

Ah, defend needed reforms against easy attack.......I see. To serve your nation.....hmmmm, I see.

Gee, did he mistake a piece of paper that was meant for AFTER 9/11 here?

Is FOX news seeking the Common Good? I don't think that for a second. How about the rest of the media that ignores TOO many things. Is that for the common good too?

I serve the United States of America. How do I do it. I am diligent in my seach for truth. Some people think Serving your Nation means to follow blindly into a pit and be lit afire. The Sacrifice.

"I ask you to be citizens -- citizens, not spectators; citizens, not subjects; responsible citizens, building communities of service and a nation of character."

Maybe that is where the Free Republic crowd comes in. They are not Spectators. They are there to shout down any meaningful dialogue that is not Approved by whomever writes the rally cry for the blind followers of this present administration.

And he promised that his administration would embody "a new commitment to live out our nation's promise through civility, courage, compassion and character."

"Civility is not a tactic or a sentiment," Bush said. "It is the determined choice of trust over cynicism, of community over chaos. And this commitment, if we keep it, is a way to shared accomplishment."

I don't think sending attack dogs out to rip to shredds your enemies is one bit civil.

Since when is Civility seen in Charlie Manson who is said to have asked his followers to kill people just BECAUSE.

That was blind trust wasn't it? Isn't that what Bush asked of us . To smile and say we loved his raping of the Constitution and Bill of Rights, To trust his bills even though he had "sign in statements" that basically said " I have both of my fingers crossed when I signed this and therefore it doesn't apply to me or anyone I have appointed or hired to do my bidding ...uh I mean Serve the Country.

He placed particular emphasis on his pledge to provide tax relief, the very mention of which was greeted with deafening whoops and cheers by the otherwise-restrained crowd.

What is it with the Tax Relief BS. I have only seen taxes increase. Just look on your phone bill , your water bill, Your Gas Bill..Your Local Taxes. Why are those taxes going up? Because the money has to come from somewhere and since this administration favors mega corporations over the small business owner ....well, that is why we have the China problem today with them owning the majority of our DEBT given to us by this President that has consistantly told us that we were not team players, that we hate the United States if you point out his endless follies. They have to tax us places where you will not look or think you can fight it and they are masters at the 3 card Monty.

Bush urged Americans to "show courage in a time of blessing, by confronting problems instead of passing them on to future generations."

So , where is the money going to come from for your continual and never ending war againt Terror? Mr Bush?

Aren't we passing it to future  Generations ? Is this a way to cull the population? The amount of people , US People, that have been killed in Iraq has killed off a generation for future citizens that would have been here to help rebuild our nation after your total rape of our Country. The amount of Children that have been aborted because people couldn't figure out how they could live in the expensive world that lay before us is badenough...many brolliant people that might have been able to help us out of the many jams we are in were aborted and now you have single handedly mass murdered live adults who could have born the future of the United States. And the ones that do come back home have increased chances of having damaged children due to the Depleted Uranium rounds that are used in our weapons of war. It is Sickening.

he promised  to  "work to build a single nation of justice and opportunity,"

We didn't know at the time that Justice meant a huge Justice Dept that was really acting like an Organized Crime Family

That is going to be GW Bushs legecy "Crime Family Head"  The opportunity to be with him or with the terrorists. Talk about the pick of the least of the evils......

"America remains engaged in the world by history and by choice, shaping a balance of power that favors freedom. We will defend our allies and our interests. We will show purpose without arrogance. We will meet aggression and bad faith with resolve and strength," Bush said.

"Without Arrogance" In retrospect........all I see from you and your loyal followers has been Arrogance.
