Ah, the simple Farm life.

Well, it wasn't true back THEN even though it is hard not to reminesce  about the REAL Milk and Cream and fresh eggs and it was even fun thinking back about the women folk shucking the butter beans because that was a lot of shucking to feed the entire family which included the grown children and their families. Yes, the family unit is what I greatly mourn over when I think back on my memories of just visiting the family farm on those long summe vacations.

But now, those farms(the ones that are left) are being further economically strapped by regulation that is now coming in the form of RFID chips in farm animals. There will be no buying or selling of animals without a chip and the technology advancements are costly to a mom and pop operation and there have been cries coming out of  the farming community regarding these new and costly government demanded changes. Will this be the end of Family Farms. I really hope not.
