Well, What did you do yesterday? You know what you do the first day of the year you will do all year. At least, that is the old wives tale.

I had to deal with deceitful people.

GEEZE! I guess I know 2008 will not be a breeze.

I will have that same kind of BS to deal with for 2008....Egads.

A cold snap for Florida ...yes, yes, guess I chose the wrong time to move my Starts of Shrimp plant yesterday. I put them where the rain would hit them but it is not protected from the cold.They are tempermental to cold.

Do you know what a shrimp plant is?

As a kid, I found out that the white part of the flower has a sweet taste when pulled from the flower.

So I had told a friend that before they did anything to his shrimp plant to let me have some starts. The day before Christmas he decides to cut it down. Really, it is the wrong time of year to do such things and I think out of 50 starts only 2 have not died.

I just do not have the stamina to work in my garden area in the lanai. You know, after the 2004 hurricanes I never have returned to my outside refuge. It is so cluttered in my work area and I do not have the power to unclutter it.
