The Florida
Highway Patrol may stop you as you drive down Midway Boulevard and
Eagle Street next week. Patrol officers will be looking at your car and
asking for your driver license.
The FHP will be doing a license and inspection checkpoint from 3-7 p.m. at that Charlotte County location on Jan. 22, it said.
Troopers plan to concentrate efforts on vehicles being operated
with defects such as bad brakes, worn tires and defective lighting
equipment. Troopers will also give look for licenses that are not
properly up-to-date.
