As a child, I would find stretches of wilderness to go get lost in. The natural beauty of things has a strong hold on me. I have fond memories of rolling down soft lushly covered hills of soft wildflowers under canopy trees and beautiful pines where the wind blows and rustles the needles to almost a whisper. Wildflowers. Florida is abundent in them and many people call them weeds and try to eradicate them. I think God supplies us many things for free and man tries to constantly charge you for beauty. How much life is thought of as worthless just because a man hasn't figured out how to copyright or patent it and claim it as theirs? That goes for flowers, music, inventions, ect.
When I was looking for a house to buy, One of the houses had one of the flowers from my childhood in the backyard. It was a huge bush. I had never seen that . It was so big ! And the owner of the house assured me he would cut it down and I told him not to. Oh No!. "It is just a weed!" he said." It was really the best thing in the back yard" I replied. The flowers are made up of miniture flowers in red, orange yellow and pink. Truly Lovely and it blooms almost all year long. Down here in Florida it is a weed.

I There is a sprig of this that grows on my fence line and I beg my neighbor not to chop it down. It cheers my heart so!
Imagine my surprise when I saw a weed in flower and was amazed by it. It had such a beautiful purple flower.
The weed itself is ugly and has these spikes for thorns. I have always ripped up those weeds as soon as I see them because I hate to step on them. This weed was in the drainage ditch and bore beautiful chrysanthemum type of flower only a bit smaller.
I started to think about weeds. They are troublesome to many people. Isn't this how people look at others? People look at some people as "troubled" and they want to remove the weeds before they see the beauty of the Bloom they may possess.
