Google is Working With the GOP. So What? |

It shouldn’t come as much of a surprise, then, that a lot of the tech bloggerati are getting their panties in a bunch over the services being ‘performed’ by Google for the GOP.
I’ve seen the grumblings here and there on FriendFeed and Twitter, but
the most vocal anti-Republican thus far, not surprisingly, is Marc
Canter. Marc Canter, aside from an angry and cranky blogger, was a
founder of the company that became Macromedia. What makes him
(marginally) relevent these days is that he’s a champion for OpenSource
and Google’s OpenSocial initiative.
So, it is still a bit shocking, but given his history not surprising, to see unbalanced (in every sense of the word) commentary on his blog like this :
This post says that Google is the official - whatever the fuck for Republicans.
Now lets see - McCain says he’ll keep troops in Iraq for 100 years,
he wants to ban abortion and supports waterboarding ………… isn’t that
enough?
And Google is gonna help them?
