ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - An immigration official will avoid trail by pleading no contest to exposing himself in an Orlando shopping mall food court to a 16-year-old girl.
Trial for Frank Figueroa's was scheduled to start today.
His lawyer, A- Brian Phillips says Figueroa entered the plea to relieve his family of stress caused from a trial.
Figueroa is the agent in charge for central and northern Florida for U-S Immigration and Customs Enforcement. He's suspended from his job and free on 500 dollars bond.
Arrest reports say Millenia Mall security cameras filmed Figueroa as he sat across from a teen. The security film shows Figueroa switching tables after the teen left for a new seat facing other customers.
Sentencing is set for May. http://www.wwsb.com/frameset.asp?page=http://www.wwsb.com/news/details.asp?id=27189
