Growing a Garden in Florida is what most Northern Gardeners consider a dream come true. Gardening practically all year. What most people have growing inside up North grows wildly here in Tropical Florida. The obstacles facing Florida Gardeners are just a little different than in the northern climates. I know I have had different kind of pests. My cucumbers grew lovely vines that were eating nightly. While my lizards run freely eatting wildly all sorts of bugs in my garden...it has not saved my vegetable bed. So far , my watermelon VINE looks great! I am hoping that I get some fruit off of the vine. Here is to HOPE!. So, it looks as if I need to talk to someone. I ran across this help spot and I wanted to share this find with all my fellow Florida Gardeners. Free. Just call and maybe the expert can help you over the Florida Gardening Obstacles. For more information on all types of plant diseases that may affect your garden plants, please chat with a master gardener on the Plant Lifeline at 764-4340 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
