WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. A Florida deputy has been arrested today for allegedly giving confidential information about a quadruple killing -- to a woman he wanted to date.
The case involves the killings of a family of four. The bodies of the former Brownsville, Texas, area residents were found along Florida's Turnpike on October 13th.
Palm Beach County detective Joseph Archambault was charged with unlawful disclosure of confidential criminal information -- a third-degree felony.
He was later released on 25-thousand dollars bond.
The information Archambault allegedly gave out did not keep police from arresting four suspects October 26th -- the same day Archambault met with the woman.
Authorities say the information that Archambault allegedly provided -- did not damage the investigation.
The case involves the shooting deaths of Jose Luis Escobedo and his wife, Yessica, plus their two young sons.
The deputy's lawyer didn't immediately comment.
