What are the Alternative Fuel Incentives in your State

http://www.eere.energy.gov/afdc/laws/incen_laws.html

Florida Incentives and Laws

Alternative Fuels Tax

A person operating an AFV must purchase an annual decal from the Florida Department of Motor Vehicles in lieu of the excise tax on gasoline. Refueling stations are not allowed to fuel an AFV that does not display the proper decal. State and local government AFV fleets are exempt from paying the decal fee. A person fueling vehicles from his or her own facilities shall, in addition to the state alternative fuel fee imposed by this section, pay a local alternative fuel fee in lieu of each cent of excise tax levied by a county. (Reference Florida Statutes 206.877)

As you can see, Jeb Bush and the Florida Government  kind of misses the idea of alternative fuel.

In Florida, you are taxed on the alternative fuel you make. You have to be licensed.

If you have an electric vehicle you have to have  a special decal to get juiced up.

How does your State look and are you happy with their incentives?
